Sam Hearne - Executive Director
For his whole life, Sam has been volunteering and fundraising for local nonprofits with his family. Having the vision and the incredible drive for the movement, stemming from personal experience with the subject matter, he will oversee the management of the organization as Executive Director. By creating a strong and diverse management staff that is constantly in contact with our user base, we will be able to continuously refocus our platform to better suit the needs of our constituents. To aid the team in launching, Sam has forged connections with former non profit directors and executives to ensure management the opportunity to ask questions and learn from experienced professionals.
Jake Fishman - Financial Director
Jake graduated from Union College with a major in managerial economics and a minor in digital media. Jake now plays professional baseball with the Toronto Blue Jays after being drafted in 2016 . From January to March 2016, Jake interned with a nonprofit accelerator where he learned the core principles of how to operate and progress a nonprofit as well as organize events for those participating in the acceleration program. He also has experience working for a startup baby food company where Jake designed presentations and advertisements for social media posts.
